Thematic reference library Rose Valland Institute 

 

The selection of books in the reading room of the Rose Valland Institute is based on the bibliography published in Sarah Gensburger’s book, Witnessing the Robbing of the Jews. A Photographic Album, Paris, 1940– 1944 (Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 2015). It has been supplemented by additional selected literature on Nazi lootings as well as questions of provenance and restitution. The publications are provided in German, English, and French editions, if available.
